Communicating For Safety Conference, 2009

Communicating for Safety is well under way. This year should be the biggest year yet, with over 450 people registered to attend. However, the Rio All Suites Hotel is now SOLD OUT on Sunday, March 1 and Monday, March 2. NATCA is no longer making reservations. If you plan on attending the conference, you must make reservations on your own. These can be made at the Rio (if rooms happen to open up due to cancellations) or at another hotel. If you make your own reservations, NATCA will only reimburse up to the contracted Rio rate of $169 for a double occupancy room (shared room with two NATCA members) or $84.50 for a single occupancy room (one NATCA member). This can be vouchered (must include receipt) back to the National Office –attn. Kelly Richardson.
Communicating for Safety is unique in many respects and is the only event of its kind to focus on the specific air traffic needs of pilots that fly within the National Airspace System (NAS).
