1.  Try to avoid connections through N.Y. airports.  Instead, try to make connections in either Atlanta or Charlotte as many of the N.Y. airports experience delays. 

2.  Tips for traveling to the Northeast.  If you are traveling to airports in the Northeast, such as Newark, LaGuardia, Washington National, Washington Dulles, Boston, or Philadelphia, from April-October use flights that depart in the morning and from November - March travel in the early afternoon.

3.  Optimum departure time for all destinations is before 8:00 a.m.  During the summer months, try to schedule all departures no later than 12:00 noon.
