Mike MacDonald is serving his second term as the Region X Vice President. Mike began his government service in the U.S. Army in 1974. Upon leaving the Army in 1977, he went on to receive his Master Electricians License and practiced that trade until 1989 when he decided a career change was in order. In 1992, Mike earned a BSCE and was hired as a civil engineer in the FAAs Airway Facilities Division in the New England Region. 

Mike has served in many capacities in his career, including EEO counselor, board member and president of the Federal Employees Child Care of Nashua, president of NATCA Local ENE, a NATCA representative on both the Career Level Descriptor (CLD) and Promotion Criteria Workgroups, NATCA arbitration advocate, alternate RVP for Region X, and a member of the 2006 Engineers and Architects Contract Team. In addition, Mike is a charter member of the NATCA Engineers and Architects bargaining unit.
