National Constitution Committee | Meet Members The National Constitution Committee ensures that the proposed amendments to the NATCA constitution meet deadlines prior to conventions. The Committee debates each proposal with the goal of submitting a recommendation for or against adoption.
National Election Committee | Meet Members | Web Site The National Election Committee is a five-person committee appointed by the President. They are responsible for conducting national and regional elections every three years as well as runoff and special elections.
National Finance Committee | Meet Members The National Finance Committee forwards proposed amendments and recommendations to the convention body; reviews salaries of national officers, and prepares a report about its meetings and activities in between the biennial conventions.
National Information Technology Committee | Meet Members The National IT Committee ensures that information technology resources within NATCA are used to their fullest potential. The Committee develops policy for IT resources, which is submitted for adoption and implementation by the National Executive Board.
National Legislative Committee | Meet Members | Web Site The NLC is responsible for organizing and implementing the union's grassroots legislative efforts. The Committee is comprised of an appointed representative from each region and a chairperson elected by the committee. The NLC works with the Legislative Team to develop training sessions, recruits volunteers and disseminates information about legislative activities.
National Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental Committee (OSHA) | Meet Members The OSHA Committee was instituted to establish and promote an effective program aimed at improving labor management cooperation, and providing methods for employees to raise concerns related to OSH&E without fear of reprisal.
National Office of Worker Compensation Program Committee (OWCP) | Meet Members | Web Site The OWCP Committee was established as a proactive measure on the part of NATCA to assist union members who incur a job related traumatic injury, or an occupational disease or illness. The committee is made up of NATCA activists from each region. Committee members become certified compensation specialists upon successful completion of training, which is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor.
